Cell-free conditioned medium, explained.

Start with the ingredient name.
EXOCARE contains Canine UC-MSC Conditioned Medium. UC-MSC refers to umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells; “canine” identifies the animal source.
The important distinction is between the cells used to produce an ingredient and the finished product in your hand. EXOCARE is formulated with cell-free conditioned medium. It does not contain live stem cells.
What does “conditioned medium” mean?
In cell culture, cells release substances into the liquid surrounding them. That liquid is called conditioned medium. It can contain a mixture of released materials, including extracellular vesicles, rather than a single isolated ingredient.
And where do exosomes fit in?
The conditioned medium is described as “exosome-rich”. Exosomes are a particular type of extracellular vesicle. Conditioned medium and purified exosomes are not interchangeable terms; identifying the vesicles in a preparation requires appropriate testing.
Use EXOCARE according to its directions. It is an oral and skin care gel for animal use, not a live stem-cell treatment.

Apply a small amount.
Apply a small amount where needed: skin, teeth and gums, paw pads or outer ear surfaces.
Suitable for daily care. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Follow the directions supplied with your product.
Store with care.
Store away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat. Close the cap tightly after each use.
Check the expiry date on your own product.
